Yo-ho me hearties and.. welcome to my life. Ha, that is officially the corniest introduction in the history of introductions but here we go.

My name is Mimmi Äijö, I am 21 years old. I am half Swedish, half Finnish and currently living in the lovely, lovely London.

I love grunge, JD, sunny days and sleaze and that is.. exactly what this blog will be all about. My dream is to become a music journalist so you will find reviews written by yours truly, some general blabbing about bands that I discover and/or have loved my whole life and.. yeah, you get the picture.

I am obsessed with the whole 80's glam/hair/sleaze scene so be warned my fellow comrades – this blog will contain pictures of pretty, pretty boys in leather pants with hair down to their knees. Also a couple of myself – trying to look.. well. Cool is such a fucking dorky way of putting it.

Generally I will write about things I think about, feel, love and hate. I do not like it when things change, I drink way too much Red Bull (I drink too much of everything to be honest), I feel like 16 and 45 years old at the same time and sometimes I care about everything and sometimes I care about nothing at all.

It is pretty much all or nothing when is comes to me, I have a hard time just staying in the middle. I am a happy person but I have a way of always feeling lonely. I am weird and stupid but generally also kind of awesome. I am caring, loyal and ambitious. I get really sad when others are sad and my heart just wants to keep all of you inside so that we could be a big cuddly family wallowing in cheese, rainbows and wonder.

But I obviously realize that life is not that easy at all. In fact, life scares the shit out of me.
